Today after our 3rd attempt at getting gas for the whip (thank you to all the Twitter folk that gave me thorough explanations on why exactly there is a fuel shortage at Shell in Makati), we went to put air in our rear tire, but had to wait in line for awhile — because a man had multiple attendants helping him pump air into his basketball.
There are just some things about the Philippines that I cannot fathom living without; ball-before-all mentality included.
